Forest Green Rovers look to make it back-to-back wins as we travel to FC Halifax Town on Tuesday night for our latest National League fixture.
Rovers visit the Shay Stadium for the first since 2016 where we came away 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Jon Parkin and Elliott Frear.
In our most recent meeting back in November, Rovers were denied all three points following a late Halifax equaliser during a 1-1 draw at The New Lawn.
Ahead of our trip to West Yorkshire, here is everything Rovers fans need to know about the Shaymen.
It’s been a strong season from the Shaymen who currently sit comfortably in the play-off spots in sixth having lost just eight league games all season.
That position has been earned suffering just one defeat in their last five games whilst picking up some important points in draws with York City and fellow play-off challengers, Rochdale.
Our hosts also show little let up at the back boasting the joint-third best defence in the league (32) behind the best defence in Rovers (26).
Chris Millington has been at the helm since 2022 following his step up from assistant manager when Pete Wild departed the club for Barrow.
The 49-year-old is enjoying his first managerial job, taking charge of over 100 games for the West Yorkshire side.
Since taking charge in 2022, Millington has guided the Shaymen to an 11th place finish in his first season before earning a play-off spot last campaign finishing seventh.
Adam Senior has been an integral part of the Shaymen’s success this season being one of just two players to have played every single minute of National League football (2,970) for the side.
The centre half, who joined from Bolton Wanderers in the summer, has also notched up three goals and three assists this season with his latest goal coming last time out for the Shaymen against York.
