It's another home game for Rovers on Saturday, with Newport County making the short trip over the Severn Bridge for our next League Two encounter.
Rovers fell to defeat on Tuesday night against Swindon Town, but will be feeling positive after an encouraging performance and buoyed by the arrival of Troy Deeney on Thursday.
"We will show the fans another positive display on Saturday and we believe we have enough to get three points," said David Horseman.
"Newport are strong, they get the ball forward really quickly and they're aggressive against the ball. Graham [Coughlan] has done a great job there. They're a very good team and we'll have to play well to get anything out of the game."
"Forest Green are a very good team, a very technical team," said Newport boss Graham Coughlan.
"We've seen them over the last few games and it's going to be a stern test. They have very decent, strong, powerful players. They're adding knowledge, nous and expertise to their squad with Troy Deeney coming in alongside Matty Taylor.
"They've got a lot of power at the back with big Ryan Inniss, who we know well from his time at Newport. They play a certain brand of football which is nice to watch."
Jordan Moore-Taylor is set to miss around three weeks of action after being forced off with an injury on Tuesday night. The defender was on the receiving end of a terrible challenge from Liam Kinsella, but luckily, Moore-Taylor has come off with just bad bruising.
Troy Deeney could make his FGR debut, after joining the club as Player-Coach on Thursday. Harvey Bunker is suspended after being sent off in midweek.
