With a busy week on the horizon, Rovers are back in action at The New Lawn as we welcome Mansfield Town to Nailsworth on Saturday.
Steve Cotterill and his side will be hoping to build on last Saturday’s enthralling 3-3 draw at Colchester United. Here is everything Rovers fans need to know ahead of the game.
“They [Mansfield] are a good team, great in possession and a team full of confidence at this moment in time,” Cotterill said.
“We have to make sure that we remember the things we’ve worked on in training this week, because it’s been a lot of information for the players.”
“They find themselves at the wrong end of the table, but on paper, the players they have are capable of anything, especially with Steve Cotterill going in,” Mansfield boss Nigel Clough said.
“Steve’s teams are always well drilled, well organised and very difficult to break down, so we will be expecting all of the above.”
Christian Doidge could make his second home debut at The New Lawn after finding the back of the net in last weekend's draw in Essex.
Jacob Maddox, Jordon Garrick, and Nathan Holland all remain out with hamstring injuries.
