Focus turns to the Emirates FA Cup this weekend, with Forest Green Rovers making the trip to Luton Town.
For the second consecutive season, Rovers will make the trip to Kenilworth Road in the first round.
The fixture between the two sides last October was a thrilling encounter, with the home side racing into a three-goal lead at the break. For Rovers, only Aidan Dausch brought the score level in the 79th minute. Only for a sucker-punch injury-time goal from substitute Gideon Kodua to ensure The Hatters remained in the hat for the next round.
Rovers come into this on a four-match unbeaten run, and will be hoping to carry that on against League One opposition.
Here’s everything you need to know about Saturday’s hosts, Luton Town.
Name - Luton Town
Nickname - The Hatters
Founded - 1885
League Position - 3rd in Sky Bet League One (24 points)
Luton are in their second season back in League One following relegation from the Championship in 2025.
The Bedfordshire side suffered back-to-back relegations after finishing in the Premier League’s bottom three in 2024.
The Hatters have enjoyed an impressive start to the season and currently sit in third, two points off the automatic promotion spots and will be hoping to make a return to the second tier come May.
Saturday’s hosts are unbeaten in five League One games since losing 2-1 to MK Dons, winning four.
Last time out, Town picked up an impressive point at League One leaders Huddersfield Town.

Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been in the Kenilworth Road hot seat for just over a year, having taken charge in October last year.
This is Wilshere’s first full-time managerial role after previously spending time with Arsenal U18s as head coach and Norwich City as a first-team coach.
Wilshere ended up in caretaker charge at Carrow Road for the final two matches of the 2024/2025 season, following the departure of Johannes Hoff Thorup.
The 34-year-old has won 32 of his 61 matches in charge of the Hatters.
Luton finished just outside the play-offs last season in 7th, but did win the EFL Trophy after defeating Stockport County at Wembley in April.
Hatters fans will be hoping Wilshere can add a promotion to his CV this season.
Attacking midfielder Jamie Donley is currently on loan at Kenilworth Road from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
Donley’s previous spell in League One was a good one as he played a key part in Leyton Orient’s run to the play-off final in 2024/2025.
While at The O’s, Donley scored eight times and assisted 11 goals in 52 appearances.
The 21-year-old spent last season in the Championship with loan spells at both Middlesbrough and Oxford United, but he failed to reach the same heights.
Now back in League One, the Spurs loanee has made a good start to life in Bedfordshire with seven goal contributions in 12 league games.
Rovers will have to keep the Englishman quiet if they wish to progress to the second round.
