Rovers round-off the 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season with an away trip to The Abbey Stadium to take on Cambridge United.

Duncan Ferguson's side will be hoping to end the season on a high while the hosts continue to battle for their League One survival.

WHAT WE SAID

"They (Cambridge) will be at it; they’ve got to win,” said Ferguson. “It’ll be a tough game for us, they’ve all been hard this season.

“We’ve got to push as hard as we possibly can to get a result out of the game, the fans want a team to fight for them. It’s my job to motivate them and try to push Cambridge as hard as we possibly can.

"It’s important the players step up and dig deep to try and get a result for them (the fans) to go into the summer with a small positive.”

Ferguson will have a depleted side for the trip to Cambridge, with Jordan Moore-Taylor, Udoka Godwin Malife, and Amadou Bakayoko all doubts for the match due to injury and illness.

Tyler Onyango (thigh), Jahmari Clarke (tendon), Baily Cargill (knee), Ben Stevenson (knee) and Charlie McCann (knee) remain out.
