Rovers are looking to make it back-to-back wins as they travel to West Yorkshire to take on Bradford City on Tuesday evening.
It was an impressive victory for Rovers last time out, beating the division's form side Walsall 2-0 at The New Lawn. A win at Valley Parade would see FGR climb out of the bottom two.
"We need to try and get above that dotted line," said Steve Cotterill. "When I came in, it [the gap] was nine points and we've managed to chip away at it.
"There'll be bumps in the road, twists and turns, but we'll be staying determined, honest and focussed. We haven't all of a sudden turned into the best team in the league, but we need to keep making our results better."
Callum Jones and Darnell Johnson both returned to the squad on Saturday. Jones has missed the last few weeks with a hernia injury, while Johnson missed our trip to Grimsby Town through illness.
The gaffer confirmed on Saturday that striker Matty Stevens could be out until the end of the season with a hamstring injury.
