Marques joins on Deadline Day

Wolverhampton Wanderers Under 21s captain Christian Marques has joined Forest Green on-loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old won promotion with Wolves development side this year, securing a place in PL2 Division One with victory over Stoke City in the play-offs.

Born in Zurich, Switzerland, Marques previously played for Dubendorf and Grasshoppers - and plays under the Portuguese flag - where he spent last season on-loan at Primeira Liga side Belenenses SAD.

On making the move to The Bolt New Lawn, Marques said: "I am very happy to be here. I had a loan last season that didn't work out so I am really delighted to have another opportunity to show what I am about."
