Head of Women's Football Joe Manns says FGR Women can go up 'another level' as they prepare to face Marine Academy Plymouth this weekend.
Table-topping Rovers will be looking to make it four wins on the spin after an impressive 2-1 triumph against Bristol Rovers on their last outing. It's been a fantastic start for FGR, who have responded well since their opening day defeat to Bishops Lydeard.
“We are growing and growing and we knew that opening day defeat was hopefully going to be a catalyst for the games moving forward," said Manns after the victory over Bristol Rovers.
“Three wins on the bounce - and you can see that we are growing together as a group. We have lots of new players but we're feeling stronger with each performance. But I also know we've got another level in us."
Marine Academy Plymouth have started the season with two wins and two defeats from their opening four fixtures, although the losses have come against Pucklechurch Sports and Sherborne Town, who have both enjoyed positive campaigns so far.
Rovers make the trip to Devon on Sunday with kick-off at 2:15pm at Trevithick Road (PL5 2AF).
