Murphy Bennett scored his first goal for Didcot Town in midweek, converting from the penalty spot in a vital 2-1 win at Hayes & Yeading. Murf was once again involved for the Railwaymen on Saturday, completing 90 minutes in their 1-0 home defeat to Beaconsfield.
Fin Bell's impressive unbeaten run with Yate Town came to an end at the weekend, with the Bluebells falling to a 2-0 defeat to table-topping Wimborne Town. Fin played an hour for Yate, who were unbeaten in 10 before the loss.
Alfie Bendle played the full 90 minutes as Eastbourne Borough were beaten by National League South promotion-chasers Chelmsford City.
Meanwhile, up in Scotland, Amadou Bakayoko and Dundee made it back-to-back wins with a 2-0 triumph over Ross County, with the striker playing 81 minutes. Teddy Jenks was not in the Ross County squad for the game.
