Forest Green Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of centre-back Kyle Ajayi on a permanent transfer from National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.
Kyle has signed a two-year deal with the Rovers and joins on the back of a successful season with the Tudors, making the National League South play-offs, which ended in defeat to Weston Super-Mare on penalties.
The left-footed commanding centre-back joined Hemel Hempstead Town on a free transfer from AFC Dunstable in the summer of 2020.
He would then go on to make 190 appearances for the Tudors over six years, attaining the captain's armband and scoring 13 goals in the process.
Manager Robbie Savage had this to say about the signing of Kyle: “We are delighted to have Kyle on board with us. He is a strong, experienced, dynamic centre back that will be a valuable addition to the squad.”
