Forest Green forward Jose Marquez has joined Southern League Premier Central side Alvechurch on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old will join defender Will Merrett at the Midlands side, but will be available for selection for our National League Cup campaign on dual registration.

Marquez featured during pre-season and scored in our opening NL Cup fixture against West Brom U21s - a 3-1 victory at The New Lawn.
