Forest Green are pleased to announce the signing of Jili Buyabu from Championship side Sheffield United on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old began his career with Hornchurch but has enjoyed a rapid rise having signed with the Blades in 2021.

He joined National League side Rochdale on loan last campaign and went on to make 24 appearances for the club.

He operates predominantly down the left side and featured at The New Lawn when Dale travelled to Rovers back in January 2025.

On his signing, Manager Robbie Savage said: “We’re very happy to get Jili into the building, adding both competition and quality.

“He will no doubt add to the depth we’re creating in all positions and we’re grateful to Sheffield United for allowing him to develop with us.”

Jili will wear the number 24 shirt.
