Two goals, an assist, and a handful of resolute performances at the back is why Ryan Inniss is Forest Green Rovers’ Quorn Star of the Month for January.

Inniss started the month with an all-important last gasp winner against Yeovil Town before following it up with another dramatic late goal during our draw with Dagenham & Redbridge.

And those goals were closely followed by an important assist for Liam Sercombe’s winner over Rochdale.

The 29-year-old featured in five of Rovers seven games during January playing an integral part in two of the three clean sheets kept by Rovers.

Following his last minute winner over Yeovil, Inniss was also included in the Vanarama National League’s Team of the Week for a second time this season.

Overall for Rovers this campaign, Inniss has made 29 appearances scoring three goals, assisting once and has helped earn 10 of 13 clean sheets by Rovers so far.
