On Thursday, Katharine Lady Berkeley School travelled to Exeter to represent FGR in the Regional Finals of the EFL Utilita Girls Cup.

Following seven group-stage matches, Rovers moved on to the Quarter Finals where the girls performed brilliantly, eventually being knocked out by the overall winners from Plymouth Argyle.

“It was great to spend the day with individuals that enjoyed playing football with their friends,” said James Grady of the FGR Community team.

“They played with big smiles on their faces throughout. They are a credit to their school and represented FGR superbly.”

This month, Rovers are hosting the Local Finals for the EFL Kids Cup at Rednock School, where the winners will represent FGR in the regional Finals hosted in Swindon.
