Forest Green Rovers are are working with international fans of the club to create something new - the FGR International Fan Brigade (IFB).

Last year, FGR were recognised by FIFA as the best example of fan engagement in Europe – and reaching out to supporters from all four corners of the globe has become a key priority for the club.

With over a hundred existing groups of passionate fans across the planet, the club are bringing supporters closer to the club by forming this new initiative – welcoming fans from Australia to Iceland and everywhere in between.

Supporters can unlock exclusive rewards specially tailored to fuel their passion for the FGR, including shop discounts and custom-made content benefits – as well as exclusive news and a bespoke welcome pack.

As a registered IFB group, you will be part of the annual end of season awards and even receive an official fan brigade stamp to use on your social media channels and merchandise.

Here at the innocent New Lawn, we are proud to have a global fanbase, and this exciting new network will become a key part of the Rovers community.

Chairman Dale Vince commented: “Fans are fundamental to any football club - over the last few years groups of FGR followers have sprung up all over the world. It’s a truly International group of people passionate about two things, football and sustainability.

"For me it’s one of the great outcomes of our work at FGR and in the greening up of football.  We want to work together with our International fans to spread the word further - there is another way to live."
