Four Rovers players have been called up for international duty over the upcoming September period. Rovers will see D'Mani Mellor, Kairo Mitchell, Kyle Kelly and Fil Mabete all depart for their call-ups. This international window is the first time any National League club has had four call-ups in one period.
D'Mani Mellor – Yemen
Rovers striker D'Mani Mellor has been called up by Yemen. Yemen are currently 145th in the FIFA World Rankings, as of July 2026. Yemen will play Kuwait in a friendly ahead of their Gulf Cup fixtures. They will then play three fixtures in quick succession, facing the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.
Kairo Mitchell – Grenada
Fellow Rovers forward Kairo Mitchell will be jetting off to play for Grenada, currently sitting 163rd in the FIFA World Rankings, as of July 2026. Grenada will play four fixtures across this international break in the CONCACAF Nations League B, Group 3. These include Cuba, St Kitts and Nevis, and back-to-back fixtures against Bonaire.
Kyle Kelly – St Kitts and Nevis
On-loan Liverpool player Kyle Kelly will link up with St Kitts and Nevis. Currently sitting 152nd in the FIFA World Rankings, as of July 2026, they are also placed in the CONCACAF Nations League B, Group 3, and will play four group fixtures. These include Grenada, Bonaire and back-to-back fixtures against Cuba.
Fil Mabete – DR Congo U23S
On-loan Swindon Town centre-back Fil Mabete has been called up by DR Congo U23S. Mabete has only been called up for one fixture by DR Congo U23S, as confirmed by Robbie Savage in his press conference. They will play Mauritania U23S back-to-back in the qualification round of the Africa Cup of Nations U23.
