Forest Green Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of Regan Hendry from Raith Rovers.
The attacking midfielder heads to the innocent New Lawn on a two-year-deal after helping the Kirkcaldy-based outfit to a third placed finish in the Scottish Championship, just behind Hearts and Dundee.
Hendry was an integral member of Rovers' Scottish League One winning squad during the 2019/20 season - and during the previous campaign, he was named in both the PFA and SPFL Championship Team of the Year.
Born in Edinburgh, the 23-year-old started his professional career with Celtic and represented his country at Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 levels.
Rich Hughes, Director of Football, said: "We're delighted to add someone of Regan's ability and character to our squad ahead of the new season.
"Regan is a player that we have been tracking for some time, he’s performed well over the last 18 months we’ve been monitoring him. He’s a well balanced footballer with good ability to pass the ball forward and is a player our fans will enjoy watching."
We'll bring you a full and exclusive interview with Regan when the players return to pre-season training next week.
