Forest Green Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Harry Isted on a short-term deal until the end of the season following a termination of contract from Burton Albion. Subject to league approval.
The 28-year-old joins following an injury to Rovers’ number one, Luke McNicholas, earlier in the week.
Isted signed for Burton Albion from Charlton Athletic in 2024, where he made a handful of appearances for the Brewers. It was at Charlton and Barnsley, however, where the shot-stopper enjoyed the bulk of his appearances.
Prior to that, Isted spent six years with Luton Town (2017–2023), during which time he undertook loan spells with Wealdstone and Oxford City.
Everyone at Forest Green Rovers would like to extend a warm welcome to Harry, who will wear 42. 💚
