Gbadehan Signs Permanent Deal with Rovers
Versatile midfielder joins on a one-year contract after successful trial
Forest Green Rovers are delighted to announce Adeteye Gbadehan's permanent signing after a successful trial period with the club.
The versatile 22-year-old midfielder has signed a one-year deal with the club. Adeteye made 14 appearances last season for MLS Next Pro side St Louis Two.
Gbadehan also had a short spell with Welsh outfit Cardiff City, making one EFL Cup appearance during the 2024/25 season in a 3-5 loss to Southampton, as well as four appearances for the U21s in the Premier League Cup.
Manager Robbie Savage had this to say on the signing of Adeteye:
"Adeteye's been on trial with us for the last ten days and has done exceptionally well.
"We believe Adeteye can benefit the club long term. He'll develop with us, and we think he is a real, real talent."
New signing Adeteye Gbadehan added:
"I'm absolutely buzzing to be here. The lads, the gaffer and the staff have been great since I arrived. I just cannot wait to get going now and show people what I'm about."
