After extensive work behind-the-scenes, FGR are now preparing for the huge top-of-the-table clash against York this Saturday, with a newly installed d&b audiotechnik sound system for the EESI Stand.

FGR has become renowned in the world of sustainability and football and have been working hard with d&b to find a practical and effective upgrade to the current limited sound system at The New Lawn. The solution needed to fit with the club's strong sustainable ambitions, though complicated by the plans for a new stadium at EcoPark.

“One area that we know that needs improvement is the audio in the stadium” explains Dane Vince, CEO of FGR. “The current system was not specifically designed to be used for the delivery of music and its limitations have been apparent for a long time. We are always looking to improve the Matchday experience we can offer; and d&b audiotechnik have worked hard to find a solution that would elevate the audio experience for our supporters with possibility to extend into all four stands. Additionally, the system is perfectly aligned with both our sustainability and community orientation, and we are delighted to be working with a Nailsworth based company offering broad expertise and internationally renowned excellence.”

The new system will be installed into the EESI Stand for Saturday’s clash against York City and will dramatically improve the sound quality for the fans in the South Stand. This is a crucial game in the 24/25 season, with both teams starting strongly. Tickets are still available online and can also be bought on the day.
