Award-winning food procurement experts allmanhall have renewed their sponsorship with Forest Green Rovers Football Club (FGR) for the 2025/26 season. Recognised by FIFA as the world’s greenest and first fully vegan football club, FGR emphasises sustainability at every level of its operations.
allmanhall, the EcoVadis Gold-rated and Best Sustainable Food Procurement Solution winner for the fifth consecutive year, are delighted to announce the renewal of their sponsorship with Forest Green Rovers Football Club (FGR) for the 2025/26 season.
Mike Meek, allmanhall’s Procurement & Sustainability Director, highlighted the impact of their partnership, stating, “What I love about our partnership with Forest Green Rovers is seeing the difference food can make. By supplying food to the club, and sponsoring the family cookalongs, we’re helping people learn, cook, and enjoy meals that are healthy, affordable, and better for the planet. Together, we’re showing that through effective procurement, good, sustainable and affordable food is possible for everyone."
FGR utilises allmanhall’s expertise to maximise their catering budget while upholding eco-friendly practices. The community cookalongs, a key element of the partnership, empower local families to learn and make affordable plant-based meals. With five sessions planned for the upcoming season, Chef Richard Allen will guide families in cooking skills, supported by a custom vegan cookbook created by allmanhall.
allmanhall's commitment to sustainability is evident as they continue to participate in the UN Global Compact and maintain a Gold rating from EcoVadis. This renewed sponsorship exemplifies how collaboration between sport and business can foster positive environmental and community outcomes.
“Food is a big part of the experience here at FGR, whether it is matchday, events, hospitality, feeding the players or hosting the rewarding community cookalongs. As a club we are keen to educate on plant-based sustainable switches that are better for people and the planet. allmanhall have provided a great solution for the club to make financial and sustainable savings, as well as offering a carbon calculator for the meals produced from the kiosks.” – Paula Brown, Head of Commercial, Forest Green Rovers.
“The community cookalongs are great to see families having fun, whilst learning how to cook. I enjoy sharing my skills for all involved so they can learn about preparing plant-based, affordable meals from scratch. It’s great to see the progression and engagement from the attendees as they develop through the course, hoping they will take their learnings further in life.” – Richard Allen, Head Chef, Forest Green Rovers.
