FGR have signed experienced left-back Freddie Sass from League Two side Accrington Stanley on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old defender joins Rovers after making 31 appearances last season for Stanley, scoring one and assisting one.
When asked about coming to FGR, Freddie said:
"I'm really excited to be here; it's a great challenge, and I can't wait to get started."
The gaffer had this to say about his new signing:
"Absolutely delighted to welcome Freddie to the club; he’s a terrific player who will add strength to our defence. He's full of potential and a great guy from a good family. I'm looking forward to having him round the place."
Freddie will wear the number 27 shirt for the 26/27 season.
