The FGR Community Trust need your help this Christmas. The festive period can be a challenging time for families up and down the country. So that’s why this year the FGR Community Trust and FGR are working together to appeal for donations to help provide festive food boxes for local vulnerable families this Christmas.
Each box will contain the ingredients for eight different meals, giving families the chance to cook dinners from scratch, in the same spirit as the Trust’s Community Cookalong programme.
Some of our partners have already got behind the initiative. The Trust has thanked Olly’s, Coconut Collaborative, Meegz, One Planet Pizza, Smyths Toys, Candy Kittens, Graze and Magpye for their generous donations.
Supporters can help by donating plant-based long-life tins, packets of crisps, jars, and snacks. Items can be brought to the club up until 6 pm on Saturday 28th November.

Every donation, whether product or financial, will help ensure more local families can enjoy a good meal over the festive period. If you make a financial donation after the 28th November, it will be put towards next year’s festive programme.
