Forest Green Rovers have partnered with Sports Direct to launch our first-ever FGR Community Boot Swap. This offers a sustainable solution to the fast pace at which young players grow out of their boots; you can bring in a usable pair of boots and swap them for a larger size. This will not only help to make football more accessible, but it will also dramatically extend the life span of football boots, reduce waste generated and contributing to saving the planet.

The FGR Community Boot Swap offers a unique opportunity to exchange your child's football boots that they have outgrown but are still in good condition, for a quality pair in a larger size. We kindly request that those who are able to do so make a voluntary donation of £5, which supports the running of the boot swap.

How does it work?

• The boot swap will be available at all FGR Community soccer camps at the New Lawn and at special events through the season.

• You can also arrange swap by emailing community@fgr.co.uk.

• Bring in your old pair that are still in good condition and hand them over to the FGR Community team.

• Take away your next pair of boots.

Boots need to be in good clean condition without any tears or holes and with all of their studs.

To arrange a boot swap, you can visit one of our Soccer Camps. We normally run camps during all Gloucestershire half-terms (excluding Christmas). We will also run boot swaps at special events throughout the season (announced on our website/social media) or you can email community@fgr.co.uk to arrange a swap.
