Having seen their Youth Alliance League (YAL) campaign come to a close at the end of January, the Forest Green Rovers Under 18s will once again challenge for the Merit League Two title.

Rovers marked the final game of the YAL with a 1-1 draw against league winners AFC Bournemouth, the point seeing them go two spots better than last season to confirm a seventh-place finish.

The Merit League Two season, which FGR won last season on final day, kicks off next weekend, Saturday, February 15.

Rovers make the trip to Barnet before welcoming MK Dons to the Royal Agricultural University for their first home game the following Saturday.

Cheltenham Town will make the short trip to Cirencester on Saturday, March 7, with the two sides having won a game apiece in the regular season.

Unlike the regular Youth Alliance season, Rovers will only face each team once, with the season coming to a close at the end of April with the visit of Leyton Orient.
