Eyes on the prize: Specsavers renew partnership

Forest Green are pleased to announce that we have extended
our partnership with Specsavers Stroud for another year.

Having supported the club since 2015, the local branch of
the optical retail chain have treated both first team and academy players,
ensuring their eyes are always on the ball.

Choonara, Ophthalmic Director at Specsavers Stroud said: “We’re proud to have supported FGR
since 2015.

“The local
initiatives they organised pre-Covid with schools, and now with others who need
help, has been great.”

Henry Staelens, FGR’s Chief Executive, said: “It’s important to work with local
businesses and establish long-term relationships. It’s great to have them on
board for another year - this is a partnership to keep an eye on.”

You may have spotted the giant ‘GOAL’ banner next to the
EESI South Stand at The innocent New Lawn – and if you haven’t, you might want
to book in with Riz and the team at Specsavers Stroud.

Since it’s addition to the stadium, Rovers have bagged 1.5
goals per game at that end of the pitch, compared to just 0.5 before it was put
up.
