FGR are today delighted to announce Lewis Thomas and Taylor Allen have signed new contracts with the club.
Thomas, 23, joined Rovers back in the summer of 2018, making his professional league debut on the opening day of the season with a 1-0 victory over Oldham Athletic.
The Welsh-born stopper started his career with his boyhood club Swansea City at the age of nine, helping the Swans to win three FAW Youth Cup titles, Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup during his twelve-year spell.
During the previous campaign, Thomas made 13 league appearances for Rovers - keeping five clean sheets and picked up several Man of the Match awards along the way.

Allen, 20, made the move to Gloucestershire prior to the start of the 2019/20 campaign from then National League North outfit Nuneaton Borough.
Born in Walsall, the attacking player began his career at Romulus, known for their successful academy system in the West Midlands, before impressing for the Borough during his five month spell.
Allen has also spent time on loan with Hereford, Gloucester City, Hednesford Town and Leamington while with Rovers.
