Troy Deeney has named an unchanged side from Friday night's goalless draw with ahead of Rovers' Boxing Day clash with Newport County. 

“The lads really put a shift in, so it is difficult to change when they did everything we asked for and more,” Deeney said. 

“But we will definitely need to lean on the bench today as we go again in a couple of days.” 

There's a late Christmas present for Rovers fans as Marcel Lavinier returns to the bench for the first time since October following his spell out with a hamstring injury. 

“It is great to have him back. He brings a lot of quality to the side,” he said.  

“He gives us that attacking emphasis and has so much quality from set pieces so he has a big part to play.”
