Luke Daniels has won the Quorn Star of the Month award for August. The goalkeeper, who joined Rovers in July, has had a fantastic start to life at The New Lawn, with his performances at Harrogate Town and AFC Wimbledon proving vital as FGR picked up four points on the road across those two games.

Daniels won the poll with 41.2% of the vote. The other nominees were Kyle McAllister (26.1%), Matty Stevens (18.4%) and Charlie McCann (14.4%).
