Cargill pens contract extension

We’re delighted to announce that defender Baily Cargill has agreed
an extension to his contract, keeping him at The innocent New Lawn until the
end of the 2022/23 season.

The 25-year-old, who was already contracted for the coming
season, made 25 appearances for Rovers last season, scoring twice.

On signing the deal, Cargill said: “This was an easy
decision for me. We’ve got a great group of lads here and I’ve really enjoyed
my first five months with the club.”

“FGR are only going in one direction, and I’m excited to be
part of the journey.”

Richard Hughes, Director of Football, said: “We’re so
pleased to get this one done. Baily came in during January and has been
excellent for us. I’m sure there’s plenty more to come from him over the next
two seasons.”
