A rather local away trip awaits Rovers supporters this weekend, with a visit to St James Park for our League Two encounter with Exeter City.
Need to know all the key information for parking, getting into the stadium - and even what to eat? We've got you covered!
Located on direct train routes from London Paddington, London Waterloo, Birmingham, Bristol and other parts of the country, Exeter is a popular destination for fans who want to enjoy a weekend of football near the Devonshire coast.
Exeter City's St James Park stadium is conveniently located in the heart of the city, with excellent walking, cycling and public transport links, which are now clearly signposted en-route.
Address: St James Park, St James Road, Exeter, EX4 6PU.
It will be an incredibly welcoming atompshere this weekend, with families welcome in the Family Zone 90 minutes before kick off or at any time in the Red Square Fanzone patio bar or CentreSpot bar.
The Family Zone will provide a safe, comfortable environment for families to enjoy pre-match entertainment, such as a large screen TVs, video game consoles and table football, as well as the option to enjoy refreshments from the zone’s very own kiosk.
Any supporters who need assistance will find Exeter's helpful Supporter Ambassadors dotted outside the Stadium.
Before the match, Exeter will be welcoming supporters into the ground early to have a family photo in the Stadium and at 2pm, they'll invite one lucky FGR supporter to announce the team news in their Red Square Fanzone. There will also be a free hot drink for the first 50 supporters who arrive in the ground.
As with all grounds and to comply with legislation the deployment of flares and other pyrotechnics inside the stadium cannot be tolerated.
Flags and drums are permitted at the stadium but may be restricted during capacity games. Visiting supporters are advised to contact customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk to pre-arrange access for drums and/or flags.
Unfortunately, parking is very restricted at St James Park. There is no on-site parking for supporters on matchdays and there is also very limited residential parking available locally.
There are a few car parks near the ground though. There is the King William Street car park (NCP) or the car parks just off Western Way on Parr Street, Belmont, Belgrave Road and Bampfylde Street car park and the Triangle car park (actually accessed from Clifton Road). These are all about five to 10 minutes' walk minutes from the club.
