It’s a short week this week as Forest Green Rovers make the trip to Prenton Park on Good Friday to face promotion contenders Tranmere Rovers.

It’s not the first time these two sides have gone head-to-head in a promotion battle and this game promises to be a cracker.

We have full details on tickets and travel to make the most of the trip to Prenton Park and give the team your full backing. 

TICKETS

Tickets are now on sale from our ticket office telephone line on 0333 123 1889, or from our website HERE.

Telephone lines are open Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm, or if you prefer to buy in person, we've also opened a ticket office in Ecotricity’s Unicorn House office on Russell Street in Stroud, where you can buy tickets. The office is open Monday - Thursday between 8.30am and 5pm or Friday between 8.30am and 4pm.

Tickets can either be collected in advance from The New Lawn (on matchdays only) or from Tranmere’s ticket office on match day.

All tickets are for covered seating within Summit Marine Scaffolding Cowshed Stand.

Forest Green Rovers fans have until Thursday, April 18, at 10.00am to buy their tickets in advance.

* Young person’s category will require ID. It is a very strict policy. They do not accept Student ID. It must have their DOB on. NO ID will mean they have to pay full price on the day.

A round trip to Tranmere takes around 6 hours and 30 minutes dependent on the traffic.

The rest-stop for this match is at Stafford.

Travel will be on sale from our ticket office telephone line on 0333 123 1889, from our website www.fgr.co.uk or in person at The New Lawn (after home matches only) and will be on sale until Thursday, April 18, at 1pm.

Directions: 

From the M56, take Junction 15 onto the M53 (signposted Ellesmere Port/Birkenhead). From here, Prenton Park can be accessed either via Junction 4, and once upon the slip road, take the fourth exit on the main roundabout. The stadium is then signposted from here, and is approximately a five minute drive.

Parking

Prenton Park has a large main car park facility that will accommodate both cars and coaches. Spaces can be booked in advance or purchased on the day for £5 per car and £10 per coach/mini-bus.

There is limited street parking available within the area.

Train

The main line access is via Liverpool Lime Street or Chester.

Facilities

The Fan Park welcomes all supporters and will be set up on matchdays at the front of the Main Stand. Here you will find a large bar, and additional outlets selling a variety of food and drink.

Matchday food (Cowshed Catering) is also available at Prenton Park from various kiosks around the stadium, including the visitors section which includes bar facilities.
