Rovers climbed back into the play-off places with a 2-1 victory over Tranmere Rovers.
Josh Davison and Aaron Collins found the back of the net for the home side - before Kieron Morris fired home in second half stoppage time.
Jimmy Ball made two changes to the starting eleven from Tuesday's defeat to Barrow - with Josh Davison and Kane Wilson making their way into the line-up.
Both sides failed to really stamp any early authority on the encounter - and only had a few half-chances during the opening forty-five minutes. Collins snapped at a chance outside the area and struck the stand - before Scott Wagstaff had a similar effort which also went wayward.
Keith Hill's men really struggled to create any opportunities - and FGR nearly took the lead on the stroke of half-time. Ebou Adams picked up a ball nodded toward him from skipper Chris Stokes - but he fired his effort just wide of the target.
It only took FGR four minutes to race into the lead in the second-half courtesy of Charlton loan star Davison. A cross was sent in from the right flank, which evaded Collins' leap in the area, but the youngster took the ball down on his right foot and curled the ball beyond Joe Murphy.
Jimmy Ball's side were reduced to ten men just before the hour mark when Adams was shown a second yellow card. The FGR midfielder appeared to collide with Calum MacDonald - and referee Tom Nield produced the red card for the challenge.
With less than ten minutes remaining, FGR looked to secure all three points when Nield awarded a penalty. Collins looked to skip past visiting stopper - but was brought down by Murphy. The Welshman stepped up and coolly slotted the ball into the back of the net.
Kieron Morris scored a rocket from outside the penalty area in stoppage time, but it was not enough as FGR picked up all three points.
